A 1-year Psychedelic-assisted Therapy Graduate Certificate program geared toward professional therapists (or equivalent) and clinicians who aim to train in and support psychedelic-assisted therapies.

A 146-hour training program geared towards professionals with a medical degree (MD, RN), or a graduate degree (MA, PhD) in psychology, counseling psychology, or a closely related field such as psychiatric social work or psychiatric nursing.

Roots to Thrive (RTT) Experiential Training is designed for clinicians and therapists with at least two years of professional experience in mental health and who already have a basic level of training in psychedelic theory, who are seeking a lived experience with psychedelic medicine and an opportunity to apply theoretical principals to practice in a supervised practice environment. 45-hour program that is a mix of virtual and in-person learning.

The microprogram in Psychedelics & Spirituality Studies is situated at the intersection of several disciplines, including Religion, Psychology, Anthropology, and Health. It involves the examination of the spiritual, ritual, and therapeutic uses of psychedelics and other non-ordinary states of consciousness, cross-culturally and throughout history. Candidates are required to have a four-year Bachelor degree or an equivalent degree/diploma to enroll in this microprogram.

This 8-month certificate in Psychedelic Therapies and Research program thoroughly covers clinical work with MDMA and psilocybin (the two medicines furthest along in the FDA drug development process) with additional coursework on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (FDA-approved for specific clinical syndromes).

ATMA offers introductory courses as well as an Advanced Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy certification program.

Above-ground Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy program with a multi-disciplinary team including medical support. Group or individual model.  Preparation and integration sessions are offered via zoom, but dosing sessions are in person in Nanaimo.

Dr. Reg Peters offers an above-ground psychedelic-assisted therapy program in his Abbotsford clinic.

Dr. Jean Paul Lim offers an above-ground and harm reduction approach to psychedelic-assisted therapy out of his Langley clinic. 

This clinic is in downtown Vancouver and has been in business for many years. Their Ketamine-assisted therapy program is relatively new, but they have a multi-disciplinary team that includes Mark Haden, one of Canada’s leading experts in the field.
